HUGE Milestone....

We have been trying to potty train Braylee for a few weeks, what a task. Anyone who has spent even an hour with Braylee knows how much she drinks so imagine how many times she goes to the bathroom in a day!! I took her to the mall the other night for a mommy daughter date and in the hour and a half that we were there she had to go potty 2 times. We were in the bathroom in JCPenny (with several other people) and I thought she was finished so I said are you done? She very loudly replied "Um no, I think I will poop!!" The first week was really rough. I am very proud to say today was her first day with NO accidents!! Way to go Bray, we are sure proud of you!!

Cupcakes!!!

When our kids turn 6 months old I let them have a cupcake to eat and make a HUGE mess with to celebrate the half year mark. Then when they turn one I let them have a whole cake to destroy. Well Tyler was 6 months a few weeks back and it is an understatement to say that he LOVED his cupcake. When Braylee was 6 months she ate a little but mostly liked playing with it. Well, Tyler had a different approach. He ate every last crumb and would have eaten ten more if I would have let him. When there were just a few crumbs left Josh started to pull the plate away assuming he was done and he started Growling at Josh. What a Kid!! He had cupcake stuffed in places I didn't even know existed. We couldn't even carry him up to the tub because stuff was falling all over so he had his bath in the Kitchen sink. Braylee definitely got a kick out of that. Braylee is pretty good at eating without getting it all over her face but once she saw how much fun Tyler was having she could not resist, she had to smear some on her face too for a cute picture. We sure love our messy kids!!
